The Mexican Freetailes Bat is a migratory Bat that summers here in the Sacramento Valley. A large colony of over 250,000 of them live under the Hwy 80 Overpass that cross the Yolo Causeway.

They eat between 50% to 100% of their body weight in insects each night while they are here. Look out mosquitos and and other creatures of the night, you are being hunted.
