Perspectives, the annual speakers conference hosted by The Sacramento Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, is an amazing event. Gerry McIntyre Photography has had the good fortune to have been the photographer working the backstage photographs for many years. This years Perspectives on Leadership: "Redefining the Rules" event focused on Woman in leadership roles that have gone up against adversity and that have taken risks to become the amazing women that they are today. The three speakers that we had the honor to meet and photograph were; Jade Simmons, Alison Levine, and Carey Lorenz. The stories they had to share were quite frankly awe inspiring. 

We are humbled and grateful to be a part of such a powerful annual event and to be able to meet these extraordinary women. There was over 800 people attending, and our job was to capture group portraits of the speakers with select attendees. It is our goal to take what could be a simple group portrait and turn it into something that pops and that someone would be excited to take home to remember the day with. We accomplished this using just the right lighting that we had planned out prior to arriving.  We were expected to come in and efficiently and effectively set up, organize, and execute a very fast paced photoshoot that left us results that are high quality and ready to deliver within minutes of the speaker walking out of the room. 

It means a lot to me that over the years, The Sacramento Metro Chamber of Commerce has continued to trust me with this important and powerful event. Anyone who has been apart of  planning such a huge event, knows that there is no time for babysitting your employees. I pride myself on the fact that GMP can be trusted to come in as masters of our craft and can produce great results and manage a crowd without needing to ask questions. We arrive, we know what we need to do, and we get it done. Sometimes it is important to be able to take charge, something I was reminded of by the three powerful woman I was photographing on Friday. This is something that we can offer here at Gerry McIntyre Photography. We have experience and knowledge and our clients can be sure that the job will get done and it will get done right.
