Often when we are discussing an upcoming portrait session, we will ask the client if they would like a makeup artist to be on set. It is a larger expense, but worthwhile as we bring a very talented and skilled expert in all things makeup, hair, wardrobe. Maybe your portrait will be hung in a prominent area. Maybe you have a group of people who would benefit from the professional expertise. Whatever your reason is, a makeup artist is a valuable resource when it comes to creating your look.

We took the left portrait first, then stopped the session to discuss makeup and styling. Our client consulted with the makeup artist Jean Fox who helped her plan an outfit for the next shoot. For the second shoot, the makeup artist styled the client and was able to oversee the images downloaded onto the computer where she could comment and address details right on set.
