The first week of October we had the pleasure of working with an amazing team for a full day of food photography. Patty Mastracco was the incredible food stylist, preparing and prepping each plate, Desiree Beckham was our lovely director, and Della Gilleran aided us with her talent for design and her artistic eye. There were three meals total, each shot showing proper food portion control with a delicious variety of veggies, fruit, and all your other important food groups. Gerry now has the honor of teaching an evening photography career class at American River College, and one of his students, Anne Elliot, was able to shadow Patty for food styling to complete one of the class assignments. The day was long, but exciting, with Patty rolling out incredible arrangements one after the other while the rich scent of foods cooking up in the kitchen fueled our dedicated team effort to make each shot shine. All in all, a great day here at Gerry McIntyre Photography.
