At least once a year our troop likes to do a bike outing. An over night at a location that allows for a safe yet fairly long bike ride without traffic concerns. This shot is from the Black Canyon Mines area near Mt. Diablo. Nice long backcountry dirt bike paths. Bikes are a great way for the scouts to have an adventure doing something new and with great exercise and great bonding opportunities.
