Galapagos Feb 2022

Della and I took a trip of a life time, to the Galapagos Islands. To my shipmates aboard the Santa Cruz II, here are my photographs from our trip to the Galapagos. I'll start with a group shot of my fellow "Cormorants" taken on our last walk on Floreana Island also called Isla Santa Maria.

Thursday Feb 10, After alnding on Baltra Island we boarded the Santa Cruz II, our home for the next four nights, and took a short cruise to Santa Cruz Island, After orienting ourselves aboard ship we to boarded our panga boats to shore on Santa Cruz Island where we took a short hike to Dragon Hill. Day 2 Friday Feb 11, Isabella Island in the morning from the Pangas : We ride pangas along Isabella Island

Day 4 Floreana Floreana from the Panga's In the afternoon we returned in the pangas and made a dry landing and we took a short hike to a beach where the turtles lay their eggs: Day 4 a Walk on Floreana

Day 5 Back to Baltra to fly back to Ecuador, some Darwin Finches in the Airport: Day 6 & 7 Quito
